California Dunes
Sandy Landscape
With much of the Island looking like a barren desert, these dunes provide a welcome retreat for the eye. This massive expanse of dunes, located adjacent to the California Lighthouse, can only be explored on foot, as driving on them is not allowed. During your exploration, take a hike over to the rocky coastline or drink in the view from the lighthouse.

Arashi Beach
Calm Seas
The mild temperature, soft sand, and calm sea conditions make Arashi Beach the ideal destination for a relaxing day in the sun. The water stays around 82 degrees making for a refreshing swim. Because of the calm surf, Arashi is perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The clear waters give way to a beautiful view of the marine life of Aruba. The sand is soft and cozy, but mind the pebbles that lay scattered if you plan on sunbathing. Because the beach is more secluded than others of Aruba, there are no facilities but plenty of parking is available.

Rodgers Beach
Sun Fun
Rodgers Beach is a great spot for beach activities. Snorkelers and swimmers will delight in the coral reef that surrounds the beach. The sand is a brilliant white and the water extremely blue—just what you would expect from a tropical paradise. The beach is less popular than the nearby Baby Beach and others of Aruba so it is less populated most of the time. For those who like to sunbathe in peace, the seclusion will give you a sense of privacy and the cool trade winds will refresh. A snack bar and a beach equipment rental shop are on the beach. During the early summer local bands play on the shore.
